Name: Ganeera

Gender: Female
Species: Burrowing Owl
Color: Normal Color with a black ring around her eye
Kingdom: Southern. The Desert of Kuneer

History: Hatched in Kuneer, Ganeera was blessed with being born within a kind and loving family. Ganeera’s mom and dad were excellent cooks of the desert and passed their cooking skills down to their only daughter of their clutch of four. Although they taught their sons too, Ganeera was a natural at cooking making and inventing extravagant meals. When Ganeera and her brothers were finally ready to move out of their burrow and raise a family of their own Ganeera made a dish that reflected her feeling of moving. It was a dish that looked and smelled good but when you ate it you felt sad. Ganeera’s cooking skills had given her the knowledge of what ingredients to use to create feelings. After Ganeera’s parents had eaten their dishes, although they would have rather dodged the sad dish, they embraced their daughter and told her not to cry. That’s when a sudden idea had struck Ganeera’s mother. She said that her and Ganeera’s dad had been considering on trying to move to the Ga’hoole tree. They had seen what a band of owls called the Pure Ones had been doing to owls in various kingdoms and that they wanted to seek sanctuary from these horrors. Ganeera had sealed their decision. The next night Ganeera and her mother and father had taken that fabled flight and flown over the Sea of Hoolemere. No one knows for sure if it was Ganeera or her parents that allowed them to make it to the Tree, but the three were given hollows and a life at Ga’hoole. While at the tree the Guardians had learned of Ganeera’s cooking skills and had made her Cook’s apprentice where her skill grew and grew until it got to where it is now.
Strengths: Ganeera is able to make an owl feel a feeling of choice by adding certain ingredients to meals. Ganeera always has a clean area, whether it be her cooking station or her hollow. Ganeera also makes friends very well.
Weaknesses: Ganeera’s fighting skills are dull. Ganeera can’t sing very well.
Personality: Ganeera is a very nice owl and loves making friends. She LOVES owlets and will slip them extra dessert every now and then. She is a grand cook and has the knowledge to create dishes that influence feelings. Ganeera is also very creative and will do various arts and crafts whether it be with owlets or owls of her age. Painting pictures are one of her favorite crafts and her paintings are usually ones of owls or owlets eating some sort of food.
IC: Ganeera was making a meal, a really really good meal. She was making a meal called Rodents In A Boat. It includes two to three rodents and a short snake. She went to get a snake and a rodent from outside of her hollow. She got a knife to cut the snake open and cut the rodents into pieces. After that she cleared out the snakes insides. Then she put the rodent pieces into the snake. The first time she tested it, she felt very pleased with herself. Here is another meal she made. She called it Insects, Worms, and Rodents. This is how she made it, first she got ten to twenty insects, then a worm, and then a rodent. She put the insects in the worm, then she put the worm with insects in the rodent. It is a very good meal! Ganeera has many more meals.
