This site is like no other. These are the basics, it is slightly confusing to some so I am trying to word it easy to help you understand as much as possible:
IF YOU ARE A BLACKSMITH:
You MUST have the Blacksmith's Kit and the Do-it-yourself Blacksmith's Guide to be a Blacksmith! You are REQUIRED to make the battle masks, battle claws, and other little metal gadgets that people buy from the store...BUT YOU get the PP (Post Points) added to YOUR profile. It makes things more interesting! NOTE: There may not be more than one Blacksmith in each territory.
COSTUMER OF THE BLACKSMITH:
You may ask for your metal to be made with one of the following coals-Bonk, Grade A, Grade B, or Grade C. Of course, the Blacksmith will use more than one coal in the series but for this we will make them like this-If you ask for the blacksmith to make you a gadget with a:
Bonk Coal- You pay blacksmith 170 PP (That pays the blacksmith back the 20 PP for the guide, 100 PP for the kit, and 50 PP for the coal)
Grade A Coal- You pay blacksmith 160 PP (That pays the blacksmith back the 20 PP for the guide, 100 PP for the kit, and 40 PP for the coal)
Grade B Coal- You pay blacksmith 150 PP (That pays the blacksmith back the 20 PP for the guide, 100 PP for the kit, and 30 PP for the coal)
Grade C Coal- You pay blacksmith 140 PP (That pays the blacksmith back the 20 PP for the guide, 100 PP for the kit, and 20 PP for the coal)
CONTACT ME ONCE YOU AND YOUR LOCAL BLACKSMITH HAVE FIGURED OUT A DEAL. I WILL SUBTRACT THE POST POINTS FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AND ADD IT TO THE BLACKSMITH'S.
If you ask for an object from a Bonk coal, it is GOLDEN.
If you ask for an object from a Grade A coal it is SILVER.
If you ask for an object from a Grade B coal it is BRONZE.
If you ask for an object from a Grade C coal it is MIXED. (Meaning multiple metals mixed in making it not as pure and strong...)
That is for posting it on your profile. So if you have a mixed mask, then you put mixed mask on your profile. Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Mixed are the only words you are aloud to use before the object that it describes.
Hmmm...Like it so far???
IF YOU RUN THE GROG TREE:
You may sell your beverages and meals to your owls but 25% of whatever profit you make goes to the Gadfeathers that entertain your costumers and 25% goes to your partner that helps you make and serve your meals and drinks. Message me with what you have made after every Balefire Night at your tree.
IF YOU ARE A COSTUMER/VISITOR OF THE GROG TREE:
If you go to the Grog tree, you have GOT to get a drink and meal, its only fair to the Grog tree owner...Treat this like real life-you have the choice of drinking soda/alcohol at a bar, or drinking nothing...Which would you choose? You won't go to a bar and just sit there doing nothing, you are bound to get thirsty and hungry...The prices are listed below, the more PP spent circulates this site better! The difference between soup and stew is that stew is a heavy meal, soup is a light meal.
Bingle Juice- 5 PP
Milkberry Tea- 5 PP
Milkberry Wine- 5 PP
Moth Soup- 10 PP
Moth Stew- 10 PP
Mouse Soup-10 PP
Mouse Stew-10 PP
Vole Soup-10 PP
Vole Stew-10 PP
Rabbit Soup- 10 PP
Rabbit Stew- 10 PP
You good? Got all that?
TEACHING:
If you decide to teach/train for the Pure Ones, St. Aegolius, or the Ga'Hoole Tree, you get payed. The Leader gives you PP each week if you are ACTIVE (meaning online 5 days a week and post 2 times a day-1 training post at least-if the person hasn't posted for over 12 hours, then you are off the hook-that's the other person's problem and you still get payed for not training/teaching).
Another job? Really?
No, not a job...Here are the possibilities with the Magpies though:
-They might decide to trade in your shiny useless rocks for a new kit, map, guide, or maybe power!
-You may get 20 PP for a Glass Shard worth only 5 PP...Maybe you'll get 5 PP for a Moonstone...? You never know. Magpies get tired of the same old stone, they change favorites! (Hint-its not going to be the same stone as the favorite each visit)
-You can KEEP the stones for the next round when the Magpies come but you don't know if that's a good or bad idea. You could miss a great deal. There will be a date on the calendar were the Magpies visit the Ga'Hoole Tree and the Grog tree. Not the Pure Ones camp or St. Aegogius, but your evil owls can go to the grog tree and post what they wish to trade (NOT the Ga'Hoole tree if you are an evil owl and guardians may not go to the grog tree, the grog tree is for rogues and evil owls). NO FORCING THE MAGPIES! That will cause them to leave even if everyone still wanted to barter. You wouldn't see them until the next date for them to show up. (It only deals with one area though, so if the grog tree angers the magpies, the ga'hoole tree still has a chance...Though you may NOT follow them to the ga'hoole tree if they left the grog tree for disrespect.)
Okay, so how do you get your PP back? Well, read on friend!
HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PP?
First things first-YOU POST! That always raises your PP. You can also take on a job like a Blacksmith, Teacher, or Grog Tree owner, Gadfeather, or a servant to the Grog Tree. You can also collect items. I mean, buy them from the Shard Store for cheap. You buy little shiny trinkets and twice a month, the Magpies come and you can make possibly DOUBLE of what you pay! But who knows, you might lose money too. I, as the site creator, will control the Magpies. I will rotate the prices around in an arbitrary (random) order to make it fair. So, take on a job for extra, or maybe just create many characters to post with and stock up your PP for the Shard Store and wait for the Magpies...You choose! Sitting and roleplaying also gets you paid. Look at the ranks and pay for more information.
(ANY CHARACTER THAT IS NOT AN OWL OR SNAKE WILL NOT GET PAYED, THOSE CHARACTERS ARE BONUS CHARACTERS.)
If someone gives you a Karma Point, you automatically get 5 PP!
