Naraky woke up at that time were sun had set and all that remains is the purple-orange glow that sits on the horizon. He walked up to the edge of his hollow and took in this amazing sight while he also thought about his life and how it was going to change from here on in; so he then turned his head around to look at his hollow again, and he then dived of the edge and headed towards the dining hollow. Naraky saw the entrance of the dining hollow as he was soaring above it, he also noticed that cleef was perched on a branch near the entrance with a lot of owlets surrounding him, “probably the ones from yesterday” he thought as flew downwards towards the branch that cleef was perched. None of the owlets noticed Naraky coming down to land as so when he smoothly landed they got rather surprised. Cleef however probably spotted him a little earlier before he arrived because he noticed that he stopped midsentence in the story, he then greeted Naraky by saying “goodnight, glad to see you remembered the way to the dinning hollow.” Naraky gave a small churr and replied” it wasn’t that hard to find my way back, you just followed all the other owls.” Cleef then told the younger owlets that they better head inside now that the hollow was open and that he would continue the story in the library later on. When Naraky entered the hollow it was a similar sight to yesterday, there were many snakes with owls around them with all the food placed along them; Naraky followed Cleef to one that currently had no other owls around it, he noticed a cooked chipmunk in which he took and ate. As they enjoyed there meal they had a conversation about each other’s history; Naraky told cleef about his friend Malick and how he had taught him not to see the tail as just a way to get more lift and speed, but as a 3rd wing that can be as vital as a normal wing, and how larger owls can wilf to help then get through smaller spaces, he also told him the story on how he found the necklace, but as he did with Malick, he left out the part of the vision. (OCC: this will help you understand the third tail and wilfing techniques that naraky learned from malick www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CFckjfP-1E)

Cleef listened intently to this owl's story, he was telling of some pretty interesting stuff. Once he was finished Cleef began on his story, born and raised in Kuneer he, he had taken on the life of a "healer" of the owl kingdoms. Going from place to place, helping those who where in need whether they be Guardian or Pure One. He included some of his past adventures with Tinker, a Pure Sooty Owl who disliked the Pure Ones.
Once he finished both where silent, reflecting on the others story. Finally Cleef said, "Maybe you could teach me that technique for flying through small spaces. Anyways, where would you like to begin your tour?" Cleef smiled after the sentence, he didn't show new owls around the tree to often.

As Cleef asked the question to Naraky, a clutch of owlets suddenly were surrounding the table, one asked politely when Cleef would be in the library, he replied by telling them that he had to show Naraky around the tree; but then Naraky thought of a solution, “I wouldn’t actually mind you showing me the library first, I could browse around and you could finish the story.”
So the 2 birds flew with the owlets following close behind as they weaved themselves through the many braches to get to the library. They eventually landed outside the large entrance into the hollow, Cleef then gestured with his wing reaching out towards the hollow while saying “Welcome, to the library.” Naraky stepped inside and saw many rows of books and intertwining hollows that were split for many different types of books. Cleef then took the owlets somewhere in the library to tell them the rest of the story as Naraky went off to find a book. Naraky was an owl of all sorts, he enjoyed almost all kinds of novels, but at the moment he was looking for a certain book, one that would teach him about the northern kingdoms, and so he flew towards the non-fiction and landed on a one of the wooden rails running across the sides of the book shelves. It wasn’t hard to find a book on the kingdom due to their being quite a few, so he plucked at one at random and placed it into a small woven wood basket that could hold about 4 books; he then carried the basket in search for a non-fiction book. When he arrived at the non-fiction hollow he noticed another horned owl was perched on a top shelf with an open book in her talons that she leant against the other books; she turned her head around to look at Naraky as he landed on the large circular perch in the centre of the room. She then flew off and greeted him, ‘hello, you must be new.” due to Naraky being used to living alone, he could get nervous in conversation, especially with girls “yeah, um ,hi,” he stammered, “don’t worry, I don’t screech; whats ur name?” she asked “Naraky, just arrived here last night; whats yours?” he asked politly, “mines Niamh (knee-av), it’s always good to see a new arrival.” This owl seemed almost the same age of Naraky, maybe slightly older; she was also a bit taller like all female raptors usually are. “Well, I have to get going Naraky” she said, “got a weather chaw practice I got to get to, see you around.” “yeah, See you around Niamh.” And with that she picked up her book and flew off to her class.
Naraky felt a weird sensation come over him, he had never really felt anything like it, but he knew what it was; he liked this girl. Naraky then decided he better get back and find Cleef, he had been gone for a bit and he had probably finished the story, so he grabbed, also by random, a book about fire breathing birds that were in a completely different world to ga’hoole that fought to stop a dark bird from bring a monster back from the dead to help him take control of their world. Naraky then firstly had to find the librarian and show him the books he was renting, however he was kinda easy to find due to the fairly large wooden desk he was stationed behind; once he checked out the books he then flew off to find wherever Cleef was in the library.

(OOC: Two questions for ya, before your read my post. Question one, are you going to make a Bio for Niamh? Also, is the random book Naraky picked up in any way related to Spyro? I've been writing a fanfiction and day dreaming a lot about Spyro, so forgive me if this is a false alarm. It's just that, the relation is kind of great.)
Cleef had finished his story a few minutes ago. The owlets had begged him to start another, but Cleef refused by saying, "I think it best if we start another story tomorrow, I need to focus on showing or new friend, Naraky, around." There had been a few "awws" but the owlets had dispersed, some leaving the library, others beginning to browse. Cleef then began hunting for his friend inside the library. He had actually caught Naraky talking with a great horned owl from the whether chaw. When the owl, whose name was Niamh, flew out for chaw practice, Naraky, who hadn't noticed Cleef, had quite accidentally grabbed a book other than the one he had put down. Cleef caught the title, Spires the Pheonix, as Naraky flew in the other direction, the great horned had managed to grab one of Cleef's favorite fiction stories.
Cleef went around a few book shelves to position himself in front of the searching owl. "Naraky," he called silently, raising his wing to catch the owl's attention. When the great horned landed in front of him, Cleef asked, "Good book? It's one of my favorites."

“just picked it up, glad to know that Its good.” Naraky replied to cleef. The two owls soon left the library; they decided that Naraky should put the books in his hollow and then Cleef would continue showing him around the tree. Once this was done, they decided to go from top to bottom, so they both flew up to the top of the tree where the snakes social branches and the lecture branches were located; they both perched on a high branch that overlooked the whole island- The view was breathtaking! Cleef soon started to explain all the activities and chaws that use this area of the tree, he also explained what each chaw specializes in and then asked Naraky what chaw he thinks he would enjoy most; his answer was not 1 but 2, he couldn’t decide whether the tracking or weather chaw would be his favourite, he had always been a decent tracker and wants to learn more about the art, however he had always wanted to learn how to fly through the most brutal weather and learn how to tell a storm was coming beforehand. Cleef told him about the possibilities of being doubled chawed, however he first must try all the chaws for a while and be taught the basics of each one before he would be placed in a certain chaw or chaws. after a while, the nest maid snake he had spoken to last night slithered up the branch, she appeared to be carring narakys necklace, “told you that taking your scent would come in handy; the matron of the weaving guild wanted me to give this to you.” she handed the necklace over to Naraky and he placed it around his neck, “thanks” he said, the snake then nodded in reply and slithered off. Cleef then asked if he would like to head to the great hollow; and so they then both flew of the branch with Naraky following cleef as he lead them towards the hollow.

Naraky and Cleef flew into the great hollow. When they landed, Cleef spread his wings while saying, "Welcome to the great hollow of the tree of Ga'hoole. Many events are held in this hollow. From an owl's ceremonies to random parties. If it's a night of entertainment, the great hollow is where you'll want to be." Cleef and Naraky explored the hollow some. There were other owls around, holding conversation, telling jokes, this was a very large social hollow of the tree.
Cleef answered any and all of Naraky's questions. Finally they found a spot and began talking some more about their own adventures. Some owlets noticed what they were talking about and soon joined the two owls, listening intently to what they had to say.

As the two owls told each other more about themselves and stories of their own adventures with the owlet’s listening closely, a male nest maid snake handed the older owls a cup of bingle juice. Naraky took a sip and placed the cup beside him as Cleef finished his tale; it was now Narakys turn, however he did not know exactly how to start or what story they might like to listen to, so he just chose to talk about something he recently discovered as he was heading back to his home in Tyto.
“I was flying over the beaks, hunting a fairly large vole. it was early morning and you could hear the many other birds as they started doing their morning activities. I was hunting it alongside one of the many mountains in the Beaks; the vole then managed to dash into a small tunnel entrance. I soon forgot about the vole, however there was something about the tunnel that was calling me to enter, and so I did; it was cramped and there seemed to be heat rising from further down. After a little while the tunnel opened into a massive cave, however it was unlike anything I had ever seen; the walls sparkled and glowed green, black and blue, the same blue as this.” Naraky gestured to the blue rocks in the necklace, “But as I flew into the cave I was struck from above and pinned to a wall, and before me was a young, adult female Spectacled Owl. she wore a set of battle claws over her talons on one foot that she placed at my neck, and griped me with her other free talons that held me against the wall while she flaped hard to keep us both from falling, “what is your name, and how did you find me?!!” she demanded, “I..i was chasing a vole and it ran through the hole. Pl...please let me go, I don’t mean you any harm.” she slowly released Naraky and he flew and landed on the stony floor, “I asked for your name owl,” she asked again “it’s Naraky, I come from Tyto forest” she gave a small grunt and flew over into a small crevice on the left side of the cave and quickly came back out, “heres your vole,” she threw it at Naraky, “now leave this place before I run my battle claws through your neck.” However I refused to go, I wished to find more about the sparkling stuff one the wall, “please, tell me about this place.” she then turned to me and gave a small churr, “I see your still young, but im not the one to teach nor give away information that could get me killed. However I can tell you what the stuff on the walls are,” she squinted at me,” if you promise not to tell the location of this place, it could endanger my life.” and so I gave a simple nod, “they’re called gemstones, they are rare and can be difficult to find among the beaks, now leave” and so I left, however I left with a gift, I had seen my first gemstones. And I shall keep my promise and I will not tell you which of the many mountains the cave is located” And Naraky finished the story.
Right after Naraky finished, an older owlet asked, “Where did you get the necklace?” Naraky simply replied by saying, ‘that’s another story, for another time.” Naraky wouldn’t have usually been that confident in telling a story, but the bingle juice made him slightly more confident. “Anyway, we should start to head off.” Cleef said to Naraky, and so they finished their bingle juice, the owlets went back to their parents, and the two owls flew off.

It was getting late(or early from a human's perspective), so Cleef flew with Naraky to his hollow. When they arrived, Cleef said goodnight, which Naraky polity returned, and flew to his own hollow. The burrowing owl sat on his nest, his mind thinking of Naraky's story. Gemstones, interesting. What had been so much of a secret that the owl could get hurt for telling? It wasn't that Cleef wanted to know, okay, maybe a little, but something inside his gizzard was trying to tell him something. What it was, he didn't know.
Cleef got up tried to walk over to the book shelf along one wall. He staggered a bit. "Woa," the burrowing owl muttered to himself, "think you gotta little carried away with the bingle juice this time." Cleef looked at the books and scrolls sitting on his shelf. He thought for sure he had.....ah!....right here. Cleef wrapped his talon around the bidding of a book and pulled it from its spot. It was a book on gemstones that he had borrowed from the library. He could thank his favorite fiction book about fire breathing birds for getting him curious enough to check this one out.
Cleef hobbled over to his nest and flipped the book open, looking for information on the blue gemstones Naraky had described. He found various kinds of gemstones that were different shades of blue. Naraky hadn't been very clear on how light or dark of blue the stones had been. He'd have to ask the owl in the morning. He wouldn't press for where this mountain was. He thought that he might be able to figure it out himself. As long as he figured out what the exact gemstones of Naraky's story was.
Cleef closed the book and returned it to its spot on the shelf. He sat back down on his nest and began to fall asleep. Dreams began to form about the layout of the Beaks inside the owl's traveling head.

Naraky flew back to his hollow. As he landed on a branch just outside his new home he made a deep sigh of exhaustion and turned him his head around to face the setting moon; he then took a milkberry off one of the vines that were creeping into his hollow and ate it. Naraky stared deeply towards the moon and relaxed as the darkness became light and the stars began to vanish, but suddenly his head started to throb and he soon became unconscious and started to plummet downwards from the branch.
Luckily for him though, about 2 meters underneath his hollow were a pair of great grey owls, one of them happened to be perching on the rim to her hollow and saw naraky falling. She quickly raced down after him and caught the falling owl before he smashed himself into the ground; she then immediately raced him to the healing hollow, she knew something was wrong. As she arrived with naraky in her talons, a burrowing owl, who was the matron of the healing hollow, told her to go place him in one of the many nests that were coated with rabbit ear moss and to go find a nest maid snake who could tell who he was and and would be able to retrieve a friend of his. The burrowing owl then looked at naraky as he laid in the nest, she was simply thinking he had gone yeep from something and just placed a bowl of water next to him and made sure he was warm , however this was not the case.
Among Naraky dreams he saw blackness, but within the darkness came the sound of thunder, then lightning and dark clouds became visible- and lastly, the piercing rain. Naraky was suddenly flying through a thunderstorm; he needed to find shelter, but where? So he started to fly downwards in search for a hollow or possibly a cave, but as he flew downwards no land or water seemed to appear and he was stuck within this abyss. But soon, a small voice could be heard; Naraky firstly couldn’t make out the words, but by each time they were said the voice got louder. “You promised” was what the voice was saying, but as Naraky realized what the voice was saying it stopped; and a single figure emerged out of one of the black clouds and hovered with a set of battle claws in one talon- The spectacled owl. She looked straight into Naraky eyes and she just seemed to vanish into thin air, he then flew over to where the owl once was and turned around to scan for her; but then suddenly, right there in front of him was the owl again, she grabbed him by the neck, “You gave me your word!” She screeched. Naraky again looked into her eyes, but this time an image slowly emerged from them, that cave that Naraky had found her in, however the image seemed to zoom to the far back of the cave where a crack was located, and as the image zoomed inside the cave everything started to became lighter and lighter till the image turned white, and Naraky awoke.

Cleef was nudged awake by a great gray owl, "Your great horned friend is in the medical hollow." Cleef was suddenly wide awake. "What happened?!" he asked quickly. "I don't know, he just fell," was the answer. Cleef quickly, with the great horned, took off from his hollow and located the medical hollow. He entered just as Naraky was slowly fading back into reality. He hurried over to his friend's side along with a nest maid, the matron, and great gray owl. "Naraky, are you alright?"

“I.. I need..” Were the only words Naraky was able to say before he fell back into the soft moss as he attempted to stand. “Here” the matron pushed the bowl of water closer to him, “you probably want some water. It was quite unlucky of you to go yeep of a branch and almost kill yourself.” Naraky looked at her awkwardly, “I didn’t go yeep.” He told her straight, “well then, what happened? The only other owls I usually see that fall randomly from their perches are elders!” she scratched her head with her talon and looked as if she were regretting what she had just said, "I'm really sorry, its gettin late and im just tied; like the rest of you probably are. Naraky should be fine, dont worry." Naraky tried to stand again and with success, “I think I’ll be alright.” He spoke, “Cleef, I need to meet you at your hollow just after first light; we have to talk about something.”
The matron insisted Naraky should stay with her just through this day so she could keep a close watch on him just in case it happened again and check for something that could of caused him to become unconscious. And so he stayed in the nest of rabbit ear moss and watched as the great grey and cleef flew back to their hollows and the snake slithered back to her home. The matron’s home was within the healing hollow; however it was located within another hollow located in the healing hollow so she could have privacy while also being able to watch over the patients. Naraky closed his eyes, trying not to think about the vision, but he couldn’t help it. He had never had a vision like this, most times he would just stair with a blank expression; but this was different- new. Eventually, as everyone does, Naraky fell to sleep as he was among his thoughts and would awake in what seemed like seconds

Cleef made it back to his hollow and fell onto his nest. He only got to wonder what it was Naraky wanted to talk about before he fell asleep, dreaming of crystalline caverns and strange owls with battle claws along with a goshawk of some distorted sort. It looked almost like Naraky.

Naraky awoke. It was still partially day, however it would soon be night; but Naraky was already hungry and so he decided he might as well go hunting. The owl flew over the west side of the island of Hoole and sailed with the wind current that was blowing from the east side, it bristled his feathers in a smooth calming way as he glided over the island. Naraky peered down towards the solid ground and noticed a small pond, and where there is a pond there is always small mammals and so Naraky circled the pond until he noticed a squirrel slowly creeping to the waters edge. As soon as he noticed the plump mammal he dived at it and pierced his talons straight through its heart so it would quickly die, and then he ate it.
Soon after, another great-horned landed on the same branch that Naraky perched himself at after he had eaten the squirrel- Niamh; “nice catch Naraky, I watched from above.” She spoke as she turned her head to preen a primary feather, “thanks, Niamh” Naraky replied, slightly surprised that he was being watched the whole time. “So..um, how long have you been in the weather chaw?” Naraky tried to start up a conversation “well only a bit, I’ve practically just been tapped, it takes a little while to be chosen for a chaw, I’m 28 moons (28 months in our time) and it has taken me 24 moons to be tapped since I started learning about the chaws. Anyway, tell me a bit about yourself.” Naraky wilfed a small bit, he has never been comfortable with direct conversations, especially with girls “well, I was hatched in tyto and have become a traveller since I got my primaries; haven’t been to many places yet, I’ve only gone as far as the barrens, but I hope to soon see the northern kingdoms.” he told her, “you’ve seen more than ive ever seen” Niamh gave a small churr, “I was hatched at the tree and haven’t ever left it, my duties here are more important, but I really wish I could see more of the world.” she gave a small sigh “but I believe im soon going over the sea of hoolemere with the weather chaw. You know you’re friend cleef is a traveller as well, he has been all around the place, used to listen to his stories when I was younger.” Naraky looked at her “wow, really? I heard some of his stories but i presumed he was on these adventures as part of his duty as a guardian.” Niamh then replied “na, he comes and goes, helps around the tree every now and again.” The sun had now completely set and Naraky bided Niamh Goodbye as he flew off to cleefs hollow to reveal his weird gift and explain his vision.

Cleef was picking up a few scrolls and maps that had fallen from their shelf. He had no one else to blame but himself for them falling. He really needed to de-clutter and organize. Just because he wasn't always in this hollow, didn't mean that it couldn't look good. As Cleef leaned a larger map that was rolled up into a scroll against the wall, a great horned landed at the entrance of his hollow and announced himself with a, "Hi, Cleef."
The burrowing owl turned around, "Oh, hello, Naraky. Come in." Cleef turned back to the scrolls and picked up the last one from the ground. He then turned back to Naraky. "What brings you to my messy hollow?"

Naraky walked through cleefs hollow feeling nervous; he had never told anyone about his gift before- even his parents. “last night, I don’t exactly know what happened; but I get visions every now and again that can portray the past or the future, however I have never gone unconscious from them before. Last night was something new, it wasn’t as clear like the others either, it was more of a riddle or puzzle; it gave me clues to something- but never a full answer.” Naraky paused; Cleef looked a little confused, but seemed to know what he meant at the same time, as if he knew what Narakys’ gift was. “I have to get to the beaks, and I need your help.”
Naraky returned to his hollow to get one thing before he and cleef would start to head off, his necklace. He had left it beside his two rented books on the shelf, so he picked it up in his talons and glided down and landed at the entrance of his hollow, he then opened his talons to look at the necklace and as he did the blue stones on the wings of the hawk sparkled in the sunlight. He lifted his head towards the sky, placed the Necklace over his head and flew off to find cleef.
(OCC: where going to be heading off to tyto first before the beaks to retrieve a friend of narakys)
